Role of Teachers in Education for Sustainable Development 

 

 

            Generally, the role of a teacher in education goes beyond teaching. In today’s world, teaching has different faces, and a teacher has to carry out the part of being an external parent, counselor, mentor, role model, and so on.

            On  20 Dec,2022. In my college the seminar was conducted regarding "The Role of Teachers in Education for Sustainable Development "

            This seminar was conducted by Dr. Chithirai Pon Selvan, Head of Science, Science and Engineering, Curtin University, Dubai,UAE.

  • Teachers promote behavior directed towards environmental protection  and lead to transformation that overcomes that reality, both in its natural and social aspects.
  • They help develop learners the skills and aptitudes necessary to understand ecological issues and take necessary actions.
